In the behind-the-scenes look at Ryan Sook’s design for The Night from this week’s Dark Crisis tie-in comic, an entirely new Batman is revealed, as his new Batsuit and its many new features take the spotlight in the DC Comics art.
Following the Justice League’s defeat at the hands of Pariah and his Dark Army, the greatest heroes of the DC Universe were transported to pocket realities, where their energy was drained to power the villain’s plans. Green Lantern, Zatanna, Superman, The Flash, and Superman were all taken to seemingly perfect worlds that brought back some of their greatest desires as the realities tried to keep each hero inside of them to siphon their powers. In his constructed world, Batman was split into two different heroes, with The Night being the Darkest Knight yet.
