Being the daughter of legendary badminton player, Prakash Padukone, the businesswoman played in national-level championships before her tinseltown journey began. She was a state-level baseball tournament player too.
Initially, she focused on becoming a badminton player like her father and followed a rigorous routine. Not many know but Padukone also worked as a child model. By the time she was in 10th grade, she had decided to pursue a career in modelling. In 2004, she became a model, appeared in many television commercials and won the ‘Model of the Year’ title at the Kingfisher Fashion Awards.
