One event that Brown will never forget was a Louis Vuitton show where the works of the late Virgil Abloh were showcased.

Some may not know, but apart from being a Boston Celtics star, Jaylen Brown is actually a fan of high fashion. In fact, he has longed to get a sense of how it feels to see the renowned fashion icons in the flesh. In the process, Brown would sometimes think about the unthinkable, and it reached a crescendo when he decided to sneak into a fashion show.
A man with a plan
Brown has attended several fashion shows in the past, most notably Valentino’s and Raf Simmons’. However, the one event that he will never forget was a Louis Vuitton show where the works of the late Virgil Abloh were showcased.
According to Brown, the fact that he and Abloh are both black already made it special. But what makes it even more unforgettable was that he wasn’t even invited to that event.
“I didn’t get invited to that one but I went to a trip,” Brown said on “All The Smoke” in 2019. “I’m like, ‘I can’t miss that.’ This has been like they ain’t never had a person of my color being a Louis V designer. It’s history.”

Brown confessed that he drew up a plan to sneak in. Fortunately, it worked, and he wound up sitting next to Kanye West and Travis Scott.
“So I said, ‘this what we’re gon’ do,’ I said, ‘we’re gon’ get in the car, we’re gonna pull up real fast come to a stop real quick, everybody jump out,” Brown recalled. “‘ When they say they can’t find my name on the list, I need you to go crazy. When you see the list, go crazy. Act like this was an outrage’… I ended up sitting next to Kanye [West] and Travis [Scott].”
