Marvel’s adorable sidekick, Jeff the Land Shark, found a way to turn The Mandalorian’s Baby Yoda into a walking nightmare in his Infinity Comic.
While fans may find The Mandalorian’s Baby Yoda adorable, Marvel Comics has created a horrifying iteration of the infant Grogu. It’s Jeff #18 features the titular shark dressing up for Halloween, trying to find the perfect costume. Unfortunately, every cute costume he tries becomes horrific with just a toothy grin.
It’s Jeff features the slice of life, humorous adventures of Jeff the Land Shark. Introduced in West Coast Avengers #6 and named in #7 in 2018, the sidekick has served as a pet of sorts to both Gwenpool and Deadpool, before striking out on his own. With the cancelation of these heroes’ books, Jeff found a home in his own Marvel Infinity Comic in 2021. The series has returned for a second season, continuing his mini-adventures.
It’s Jeff #18 has the creative team of Kelly Thompson, G. Gurihiru, and Sarah Brunstad. The issue follows Jeff as he searches for a Halloween costume with Kate Bishop and Gwenpool. No matter what the adorable shark tries, his smile makes everything scary. From a clown to a chick, costume shopping is hard for a little land shark. Not even becoming The Mandalorian’s adorable breakout character Grogu can prevent Jeff from being scary.
