Businesswoman Paris Hilton, 41, has embarked on a relentless search to find Diamond Baby, one of her chihuahuas, who disappeared on September 14 near the influencer’s home in Beverly Hills.
Since then, Hilton, an heiress to the global hotel empire that bears her surname, has not stopped hunting for her pet. She has resorted to hiring a team of detectives and seven mediums, using a specialized drone and offering a reward of $10,000. “Anyone who has ever loved a pet and lost a pet will understand this pain that I’m feeling. My heart is broken,” she wrote on her Instagram account six days after the dog’s disappearance.
Hilton explained in the same post that she suspected Diamond Baby had gone missing during a recent move, after one of the movers apparently left a door open while she was at a photoshoot. “My family and friends have been helping me search high and low throughout my entire neighborhood and have gone door to door but we still haven’t found her,” she added.
The businesswoman also feared making the disappearance public for the safety of her pet. “I’ve been scared to put out an APB to the public for her because people can be cruel and I worry about her safety but I’m desperate and the more time that passes, the farther away I feel from the chances are of me getting her back,” said Hilton, who added in one of her social media posts on Tuesday that she would not offer more money for the safety of her other dogs.
