A new set video from production on The Flash Season 8 reveals a new costume for a key villain on the Arrowverse show.

A new set video for The Flash Season 8 teases a costume change for a character played by Tom Cavanagh.

On YouTube, Canadagraphs — which has leaked a number of photos and videos from the sets of the Arrowverse shows over the years — posted a video, which you can see below. The footage comes from production on The Flash Season 8, Episode 20, which is the finale. The set video shows Cavanagh in a new costume. It’s not clear at this time if he’s playing Eobard Thawne in the scene or a different character.

Cavanagh has been a part of The Flash since the beginning of the series. In addition to playing Thawne, Cavanagh has also brought various versions of scientist Harrison Wells to the small screen.

Developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, The Flash is an Arrowverse showed based on the DC speedster of the same name. Series protagonist Barry Allen/The Flash, who is played by Grant Gustin, originally appeared on Arrow before receiving his own show. In the series, The Flash and his team work to stop metahumans and other major threats to both Central City and the universe as a whole. Over the course of its run, The Flash has taken on such villains as Reverse-Flash, Hunter Zolomon/Zoom and Clifford DeVoe/Thinker. He’s also teamed up with such heroes as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, Oliver Queen/Green Arrow and Kate Kane/Batwoman in the various Arrowverse crossovers.
