Trend followers who have jumped on bleached brows, low-rise denim and fake freckles are among those being put on notice as the year comes to a close.

While all fads come and go, some that were fiercely popular throughout 2022 are destined to remain there, as the world moves on to bigger and better things.

Some of the favourites to leave behind in 2022 have been around for a few years, while others made brief yet impactful appearances throughout the year.

The looks that need to left behind, stat, are as follows.

Bleached brows

First Maisie Williams appeared on the red carpet pulling off the very bold look – then everybody else started doing it.

And while a select few look incredible with bleached brows it isn’t for everyone… far from it.

Most people including Kim Kardashian, fail to pull off the bold 90s era punk look.

But that didn’t appear to stop people from trying and in 2022 it appeared most women with a connection to Hollywood jumped on the startling trend.

By mid-year it had made its way to TikTok and the general public. The trend took off quickly but has been running out of steam over the last few months.

The look should definitely be left as a glitch in mainstream fashion and not be taken in to 2023.
