TheFitExpo: Find out the latest trends in health and wellness at the event that includes competitions, demonstrations, fitness equipment displays, seminars, training tips and special appearances by fitness celebrities, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. May 21-22. Armed Forces Day Classic Car Show and Military Vehicles: Chat with veterans and see the cars, emergency and military vehicles on display, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 21. Free admission to the event. The public may register to show a classic car ($25 in advance; $30 at the gate). Cars may enter from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The event kicks off with a Presentation of Colors by the Crescenta Valley High School US Air Force Junior ROTC, who will also lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Event also includes old time rock ‘n’ roll from Band Inferno, a raffle and a 50-50 drawing. Event is presented by American Legion Post #288, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1614 and Moose Lodge #641 of La Crescenta. Fundraiser for local veterans and youth groups/programs.
