Though Tim Drake is flying high back in the role of Robin, a new piece of fanart has shown a fantastic possible future for the Boy Wonder. An artist with the Reddit handle Hunkerdown_son reinvents a classic identity as the perfect next step for Tim once he’s ready to leave Robin behind for good.
Through the years, many young men and women have worn the yellow “R” of Robin, and one of the most well-known is Tim Drake, the third hero to take on the role. Even before he officially became the Dark Knight’s partner, Tim showed great potential for being Robin. Tim’s excellent powers of deduction helped him figure out Batman’s true identity and made him a real asset in Bruce Wayne’s crusade against crime. Barring Dick Grayson, Tim has been Robin longer than any of his comrades, though he has periodically adopted other mantles.
