A woman decided to ditch the ‘sexy costumes’ for a fancy dress party and opted for a different approach – and she left all her friends in stitches.

TikTok user Hayley shared the story with her followers and said that she decided to think outside the box when she was invited to a friend’s birthday party.

The friend decided the event would be in fancy dress, and anyone who’s seen Mean Girls will understand her dilemma – as every outfit is oddly sexualised, as the Daily Star reports.

But Hayley decided she’d had enough of that so went as Homer Simpson, complete with exposed stomach, combover, and yellow skin – and soon she won best dressed at the party.
