British fashion icons YMC and Barbour International have released their debut collaborative collection, available at FLANNELS, combining motorcycle heritage with functional fashion.
Iconic British brands YMC and Barbour International have debuted their first collaboration for Autumn Winter, a collection that draws on the heritage of both brands. Featuring a range of outerwear styles, including wax jackets, fleeces, trousers and more, the designs take inspiration from Barbour International’s motorcycle heritage alongside YMC’s functional fashionwear.
The result is a collection that is both authentic and contemporary, providing new staples from the pioneering pair. About the collab, YMC’s Creative Director, Fraser Moss, said “It’s been an honour to work with the truly iconic British brand Barbour which has been in existence since 1894. We were asked to collaborate on their Barbour International label, the pioneers of the wax motorcycle suit and the legendary Original Green bike jacket designed in 1951. This jacket has been adorned by the likes of Steve McQueen and is as iconic as the 5-pocket Jean and the white t-shirt.”
The collection includes three new jackets, the Oversized Rider Wax Jacket, So Not Up Wax Jacket and Dirt Gang Casual Jacket.
